I can’t tell from the headline - does it mean no prostitutes or that the prostitutes will not be charging for their service! One reading and congress will have to leave the other they may never leave!

Exactly. Why not let them work all they can, then they could take the rest of the year off and make the place better for the folks who HAVE to live and work there. This is totally bass-ackwards. No wonder we're in a recession. Make hay while the sun shines.

on the lookout for anyone seeking sex for cash Isn't this a little backwards? What are they going to do, arrest any male with a few bills in his palm?

The police in Washington, D.C. have declared several downtown blocks a "prostitution free zone" for Inauguration Week, reports DCist. This raises a lot of questions;
Isn't there something in the Constitution prohibiting local authorities from obstructing members of Congress in the course of their duties?
Does this mean the next round of Stimulus Money (Ear Marks) will be delayed?
Can Chris Matthews survive for a week without any tingles up his leg?

Correct headline would be “Democrats Banned From Downtown DC”
.... but that would be too embarrassing for the MSM to go with.

You and others should be ashamed. You are giving prostitutes a bad name. At least when they take your money a service is rendered to you. When the government takes your money the service is rendered to someone else, usually themselves.

I noticed about a half hour so someone posted a comment similar to yours beneath the original article on The Hill.
Now it seems they've pulled it already.
