At
St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City, they had a survey for incoming freshman. One of the questions asked if we wanted the school to be co-ed. We pretty much all answered "yes".
As we were getting ready to graduate Senior year, we got the survey again. This time we all answered "No".
We all got to know plenty of girls at our sister schools (sadly, all but St. Dominic's is closed or closing).
Now that I live in the 'burbs, there's only one all girls high school that within reach and it's a bit of a stretch. That's too bad.
there was a time when the Jesuits insisted on same-sex schools, now things are different.....some of their schools are no different than the public schools and worse, they fool the parents into thinking they are offering an orthodox education while they do the opposite.
