Is there a way to invite back all the people who were kicked out during the “if you think that voting for Rudy Guiliani under any circumstance is okay then you should be shot” era? That might help.

That witch hunt really sucked. A lot of false freepers were around, stirring up trouble & notifying mods soley to get people booted. It seriously impacted the quality of debate around here. I understand some violated the terms of the website, but some were taken out by others who were shown to be here only to stir up dissent.

What conservatives of all stripes need to recogonize is the lenghts to which the leftists will got to achieve their ends— if we are to turn against eachother at minor impasses, we have no hope.

It would be a damn shame to lose our country (and our lives) because we didn’t see the forest though the trees.

It wasn't a witch hunt. Many of those FReepers were cliquish, mouthy and brought about their own downfall. You don't fight with the Boss. Some I don't miss at all. We have many new FReepers now.
