I say it does. A rich billionaire living the American Dream decides to take a stand. Also shows a bit of money and good old fashioned American ingenuity can make killer armored combat suits.

That, I think, is one of the primary platforms of Conservativism. Standing for something.

And, um, I gotta point out the Transformers Movie. I cut my anti-tyranny teeth on First Generation.

I only saw it dubbed in japanese on a JAL flt. Looked like it had conservative themes but I cannot verify it:)

Yeah. Some liberals crowed that it was anti-weaponry, but that’s clearly not the case. Tony never said he would stop manufacturing and selling weapons permanently. He said he would halt operations until he could make sure the weapons weren’t falling into the hands of terrorists and being used against Americans.
