Sylvester Stallones Rocky a conservative movie ?Only to the extent that the big capable guy keeps getting beat and keeps trying to be a nice guy because he's got obvious brain trauma. That fairly well sums up the alleged 'conservatives' we have in Congress.

I liked The Postman. I never understood what was so bad about it.

Forrest Gump was a pathetic comedy that was more like a fairy tale.
I wouldn’t consider it conservative either, with the AIDS glorification.

I don’t see the conservative message in Forest Gump.

I would nominate “Stargate” (the movie that later became the series). The people on the alien planet were slaves, until our side provided them with guns, thus proving the point that you cannot enslave an armed man who wants to be free.

Team America winds up providing one of the best explanations of why we need people willing to fight terrorists and tyrants
which I cant quote here. "I don't know all that's going to happen in this cruel, crazy world. But I DO know...that if you don't let us [DELETED] this [DELETED], we're gonna have our [DELETED] and our [DELETED]...all covered in [DELETED]."
(Close enough?)

The latest rambo movie
The patriot
Tears of the sun (bruce willis)
There was a stalone movie...can’t remember the name of it...where stalone plays a cop that gets frozen and then thawed out many years into the future to go after a bad guy. Anyway, in the future he meets these outcasts that live in the sewers because that’s the only place they can go to drink alcohol, smoke tobacco, and use internal combustion engines, and own firearms...all illegal in the future.
At one point in the movie, stalone borrows a restored oldsmobile 442 from a sewer dweller to chase down a bad guy.

Harry Potter-all of them.
Good versus evil and the emphasis on the fact that one is responsible for his or her own actions.

It's not a bad movie because it's long, requires thinking, espouses freedom, shows that even good people screw up and overcome, has good camera values and cinematography, lovely landscapes and fairly humorous dialog.
Or even because it shows that determination in the face of evil, and one man's (FLM's) commitment to freedom can make a difference.
It's a bad movie because it was panned by some faggots on the west coast. And that's all you need to know. It's bad. And you should feel bad for watching it.

Update III: Definitely on the list: Serenity (2005), which attacks Utopianism as the excuse for totalitarianism that it is. Shockingly good sci-fi movie on its own, perhaps the best in the last 25 years, its even better as the follow-up to the doomed Firefly television series.

And on topic of Sly. I gotta say Demolition Man for some reason to me is conservative.
Only Liberals would establish that sort of society.
