LONDON - Russian billionaire and former KGB spy Alexander Lebedev is trying to buy London's Evening Standard newspaper, British media outlets reported Thursday.

I was just reviewing her bio. Seems many passes were made and many accepted.
One of my favorite DP quotes was when she was about to get on an elevator when someone like Bella Abzug motioned for her to go ahead with, “Age before beauty.” Parker got on the elevator saying, “Pearls before swine.”
I wouldn’t have wanted to be subject to her wit.
