Just read a story recently about dogs being used to chase birds away. What do you think?

I don’t know about dogs, but I have read about the constant bird discouragement efforts that were necessary on at the runways at Midway Island, where the Laysan Albatross colony preferred to live on the runway, probably because they were heavy and needed to run into the wind to get airborne. They supposedly provided the name “Gooney Bird” which lives on as the nickname of the immortal Douglas DC-3.

Yeah... then the stupid dog forgets about the little bird, and starts chasing the loud Big Bird down the runway. Whoops... dog ingestion on number two! Gives new meaning to screwing the pooch.
