Pretty silly. In the Lyceum speech, Lincoln said that respect for the law, namely the Constitution and Union, had to be preached from the pulpit, taught in the schools, and held in the utmost devotion. I can’t imagine ANY communist who believes that: Lenin said “promises are like pie crusts, made to be broken.” The same goes for Constitutions, as far as they are concerned.
??? Are you sure Lenin said that? Because Mary Poppins says that in the movie: “That’s a pie crust promise; easily made, easily broken.”
