Three male Greensburg-Salem students, described as 16 and 17 years old, were charged with possession of child pornography after the pictures were found on their cell phones.

It's entirely possible (I don't know anything about the laws in PA) that these boys could have sex with the girls and it wouldn't be statutory rape. If that's the case, then this goes beyond silly.

I wouldn't be so sure. I recall a case some years back when two teens having sex were BOTH charged with statutory rape.
