“I just don’t believe in killing indiscriminately.”
Most well rounded people don’t. But that’s the problem. Our society generates some pretty oblong individuals. I like to urge people to beware of compassion driven tunnel vision. Some people focus on “the children”, others on puppies, but the social problem really encompasses all the symptoms. I wish people would focus on the greater problem with the anger and intensity that they reserve for the symptoms of their choice. All victims would be better off.

Totally agree and couldn't put it any better. Solving the greater problem would flow down and cure the individual symptoms.
Cruelty, which is a result of evil, has existed and will always exist whether it be towards people or animals. Any person of faith believes that. However, rapists, child molesters, and animal abusers deserve no quarter.
