That’s what bluetooth or hands free is for.
But, you could just as easily ban women with kids in the car from being on the road seeing as how much time they spend tending the kids as they do paying attention to the road.....

It is not the presence of a physical phone that makes it dangerous, it is the simple fact that no human can focus on two thoughts at the same time.
It has also been repeatedly proven that a person talking ona a cell phone in a car is as dangerous as a drunk behind the wheel.

What an absurd argument. Just because there are other instances where people can become distracted, doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t address the most prevalent distraction!!
