Say what you will but Lincoln still didn’t have much use for the constitution, that is fact.

Depends on which Southern myth you subscribe to. I think it's undeniable that Lincoln had more respect for our Constitution than the Southern leadership had for theirs.

Jefferson Davis even went as far to utter this brazen quote when running roughshod over the reb constitution:

"the [government's] right need only be stated to be admitted,"

Those are the words of a class-A tyrant. Imagine if Lincoln had said that! DiLorenzo would not even have the need to work to misrepresent such a quote had it come from Lincoln.
