Don’t give the Kenyan Kommunist an economy in which it is “safe” to implement the left’s socialist dream programs. That means spending only on essentials and saving the rest.

You have it backwards. A free and working market is the antithesis of socialism. Socialist economic agenda is always pushed under the guise of financial crisis. If we contribute to making the crisis worse, we are playing into their hands of having a crisis to fix(sic). The bigger the crisis, the grander the fix (see New Deal). If the economy is strong and working, people will not accept change for change sake.
