That would be an understatement. The YS supervolcano is a not so sleeping monster, that is a bit overdue for a wake up call. There will be no place to evacuate to, except maybe Iceland, for a while...

If YS blows, we won’t have to worry about global warming, only the lack of it. Iceland wouldn’t be my first pick on a place to go.

Yellow Stone was one of the must see places for me in this life time. My husband and I visited and just loved the place. The boiling pots, buffalo, eagles, geysers and boiling mud pots. OMG it was wonderful. I will never forget it. I hope it is not at the end of it's existence but if it is, I will remember every detail in color. I can't forget.

With the prevailing jet stream moving east those west of the Rockies should be fine.
