I’ll give him a C+ as a president. Way too liberal for me when it came to spending, education, amnesty, etc but he did a solid job on terrorism (though some blunders were made). The whole bailout/Paulson mess has lowered him a notch.
God forgive me for being ungrateful but I personally don't think I got what was advertised with President Bush and this administration. That is not to say that President Bush would be any better appreciated by the press or the people if he had been a principled conservative. I don't think I can listen to the speech because it would remind me of my ingratitude, dissatisfaction, frailty of discernment and the hopelessness of our craven political system.

And, as a member of Generation Y, I give him an F, since now I will get to spend my life paying and paying and paying for his incompetence, ineptitude, and arrogance. So, here's to the trillions and trillions that I and my family will pay to support his bailouts, amnesties, foreign escapades, and the largest expansion of Big Government since FDR and LBJ.
