I couldn’t get that “Movin’ On Up” song out of my head this weekend. Didn’t help that I caught a rerun of “The Jeffersons” on Nickelodeon.

Hahhahaha we all have the same problem!
My 24/7 sound is out on my puter so I have the 24/7 video with radio sound but it wont work since the delays are two different worlds.

That Movin on Up song really does describe what is happening with the Burris appointment. Burris is an old fashioned NAACP type Black, he’s no magic negro and the Democrats don’t want some old Black guy running for the seat in two years. Obama may not have been finished doing his magic act, and there could be pressure to get rid of some of the Democrats. They don’t want to take a chance on Burris losing the seat to a Republican. So... they’ve decided that the angry, one legged Philippine female veteran, would be a better risk.
