I am going to miss President Bush.
Contrary to the feelings of some on this small thread, your sentiments are shared by millions, including me.
I will miss him too. Even though I do not relish seeing Obama become Pres., that day I will watch only to accompany President Bush until he comes home to Texas. I hope you understand what I’m trying to say.
I’m going to miss VP Dick Cheney even more.
I, too, will miss President and Mrs. Bush. No human being is perfect, but President Bush has shown maturity, wisdom, resolve, patience and long-suffering. He has had gigantic challenges and has been treated with terrible, undeserved disrespect. I believe his faith in God and his reliance on values and morals has kept him firm in his convictions. I admire his patience in the face of all the media attacks, and privately was wishing he would have told the media off today.
