yes, and while the media surely helped to defeat some....why didn’t the Party.....whether local, state or national try much harder to educate people...BUY ads or TV or radio time....RNC seems to have a lot of money to send letters and make calls asking for MORE money. Why didn’t they use that money more effectively to inform people about the important and good accomplishments of Republicans?? imo, the Rep Party needs to better relate to “everyday” people.......imo, Sarah Palin did this and that’s why she generated so much enthusiasm.

she was able to rise above the fray simply by the power of her character. The media could not stifle her, as hard as they tried.

"average" pols need the support of the news outlets to gain traction with the voters, something that will be perpetually denied them from the MSM.
