I don't expect any generator to keep an aircraft in the air. However, Wild Weasel electronic systems are powered by these generators.

Many modern airplanes have these little auxiliary power generators should they lose power. They don’t use them in normal flight.

Unless of course you are referring the turbine blades in their engines.
