I’m sorry, but I know of NOONE that thinks hauling a thousand rounds of ammo and several un-declared weapons to an airport is a good idea in this day and age. Perhaps he wanted to make a point......

Apparently you dont know NO ONE.

What is this BS “UNDECLARED WEAPONS”? Who or why would anyone need to “DECLARE” any weapons? The man stopped at the check point and told the nazis that he had guns in the locked containers. That is DECLARED. What gave the Gestapo the right to open and search his containers after he declared them? Clearly a case of Gestapo rule. If the man declared them and had no wants or warrants, the gestapo had no right to bust his chops.

Seldom is there less than 1000 rounds of ammo in my truck and seldom is there less than a few firearms in it. Whose business is it? There is no law against transporting either guns or ammo.

Also, just where was this stop made? Was it in fact on the airport or outside the airport, I am seeing both places posted in different posts.

Contribute to this mans legal defense fund to make an example of the Kalifornicate Gestapo.

First, where is the law about "declaring" legal, unloade weapons in the trunk of your car on airport parking lots?

Second, a thousand rounds of ammo can fit into a small shoebox. The hysterical writer is trying to drum this into something it's not.

A thousand rounds of ammo sounds like a lot, but its not. I have no arsenal, but grab an ammo can to head to the range, I'm probably carrying 6 bricks of .22s, eight clips of 7.62x39, and 400 rounds of 9mm. That would be 1080 rounds. I don't separate my ammo to go to the range.

Ten to one that if the police were profiling like they should be, this fine upstanding man would have never been searched ;-)

Come to think of it, I’ve carried three guns and well over 100 rounds of ammo directly into an airport. Hundreds of people do this daily. Its known as a hunting trip.

If you wanted to, you can arrest and charge anyone with some violation of the law at any time. Billions of stupid laws out there.

They can arrest you and charge you with libel against an innocent person. It doesn’t make you guilty.

Hauling any amount of guns and ammo is my private business. I don’t have to declare that fact to anyone because there is absolutely nothing illegal about carrying firearms in the trunk of your car. Period!
The guy was supposed to be picking up a friend. Like thousands of people do every day at an airport.

The anti gun freaks are having a fainting spell over 1000 rounds of ammo like it is a capital offense.
For me, 1000 rounds of ammo would be a fun weekend at the range, but expensive. But not an illegal activity either. I can transport as many guns and rounds of ammo as I want.

The guy will spend a fortune on lawyers defending himself from what? Illegal confiscation of firearms and the denial of his Constitutional right under the 2nd Amendment.
I would gladly give him money to help with his legal fees because this is bullshit.
