I still think that studying another language is part of any well-rounded education and it’s required for admission by virtually every college out there. Why shouldn’t Girl Scouts learn a little Spanish?

Yeah, that what this is all about a”well rounded education” Might as well have the Girl Scouts do ti cause Lord knows the schools aren’t. Hey we can get Home Depot and Lowe’s and almost every store in the country to help as well. Our schools can join in and hey even government documents. Maybe get our TV & radio stations and hell why not just change over to Spanish anyway as most of of consumers,workers & voters speak it anyway.

A well rounded education indeed! Sounds like you can use one.

I agree completely on foreign languages and that there's no reason that the Girl Scouts shouldn't learn a little Spanish. My response was just to point out one of the primary reasons that all those kids in other countries are learning English rather than some other foreign language.
