I think Washington and the left got to him. Geez he was lambasted from day one relentlessly. I wish the left would fight our enemies like they fought Bush. Hell, we’d be out of the Middle East and everyone would be singing cumbaya by now.

See if you can find the archived 2000 election threads...there was plenty of warning about Bush. Nobody “got to him”, he was already there.
