I’m flying my flag at half staff on Jan. 20th. Any other FLeepers doing this? There is no law, I know of, which makes it a crime to fly the U.S. flag at half staff.

I believe only the President can authorize flags on public buildings to fly at half staff (no idea about private buildings)....perhaps wait till one minute past noon..

My Uncle, a World War ll Marine, flew his flag at half staff from Nov. 5 to Dec. 5 and he is also going to fly it at half staff on Jan. 20.

A friend does every year to honor her father who died fighting in Vietnam on January 20th (forgot what year off hand).
