Oh dear, I feel soooo sorry for these poor people, having to give up 10 percent of their pay a month, what a shame...... NOT,,,,are ya bleepin' kiddin' me, what about all those who have lost there jobs, translanted....100 percent of their pay per month,,,,,,,typical freakin' hacks, none of these idiots have a clue what the rest of us have to deal with....

At my last job in Dallas before moving to NY, some people were asked to take paycuts of up to 30% to keep their job. Some did, some just walked out.

It makes me crazy when unions go on strike and still lose their jobs when the company shuts down. Maybe they could all have worked for a little less - benefits included.

I feel for the folks who think they can’t afford a 10% cut - but I suspect that 10% cut is still putting more in their bank account than unemployment would. JMHO...

My mother was a school teacher in New Jersey during the depression. She took a 10% pay cut, but because travel was so cheap she went to Europe 3 summers in a row to visit relatives there. Every Sept. she came back and lived on oatmeal until her paychecks started again.
