Home made soup is very easy. I lot cheaper and if you buy hot steam canner, you can do a bunch. i have been doing it for about 6 months now and make my own. Much better for your, alot more economical and helps you in the event times really do get tough. Soup goes along way.

Plus, homemade soup tastes much better than this processed swill.

It easier than easy. I have been doing it for decades without a recipe. That means it's always just a little bit different but always good. The best part is you make soup "to taste." If it isn't quite "there" yet, then you add a little of this or that until it is. Soup freezes really well in ZipLock bags, too.

All you have to bear in mind is you can always increase an ingredient but never decrease it once it's in the pot.

Crock Pot soup is better than any store bought soup you can ever buy, period.

Well I have a recipe for homemade vegetable beef soup. It takes about 5 minute prep time and 25 minute cooking time. Simple ordinary ingredients and it’s delicious. Also, the more times that it’s warmed over the better it gets. I call it “Carol’s Vegetable Soup” because it came from a relative. (I don’t know where she got it but she fixed it during her times of hardship raising her son alone.)

1-1.5 lb hamburger
1 box of macaroni & cheese hamburger helper
1 can of mixed vegetables
1 can of stewed tomatoes
1 tsp crushed sweet basil
Seasoning: onions, accent salt, regular salt, pepper & parsley flakes. Parsley flakes are added at the last when everything is done.

After browning hamburger with onions, add 6 cups of water. Then add cheese sauce of hamburger helper. After boiling mixture, add noodles. Then boil 10 minutes. Followed by adding mixed vegetables & stewed tomatoes. Simmer for 10 minutes. Topped with parsley flakes.

Potatoes may be added but water must be add too. 1 cup per potato added.

Do these companies think they actually have to have ads directed at homos just to get then to buy their products?

Do these companies think there are more homos then straights?

Must be run by homos.

Glad I don’t use much of anything on that list except Swanson’s broths.
But there again I can make my own broth and my own soups are much healthier.

Adios Campbells, stick it where the sun don’t shine.

Wife’s already been making her own soup. Campbell soup inventory is down to about 2 cans. When that’s gone Campbells is gone. I hate giving up Peppridge Farm stuff and Prego, but I’ll do it.

What is this compulsion by businesses to cater to groups whose identity is defined by their sexual preference? One would think neutral would be the smart play.

Soup is actually fun to make. I make it whenever I have enough leftover something (like roast or chicken etc) to make it. And you can season it however you like. Great way to get rid of leftovers.
