MOGADISHU, Somalia Five of the Somali pirates who released a hijacked oil-laden Saudi supertanker drowned with their share of a reported $3 million ransom after their small boat capsized, a pirate and port town resident said Saturday.
Pirate Daud Nure says the boat with eight people on board overturned in a storm after dozens of pirates left the Sirius Star following a two-month standoff in the Gulf of Aden that ended Friday.

I read in another news story they had overloaded the boat and were going at the boat’s top speed because they assumed they would be chased. The Bible says the wicked flee even when no one is pursuing them.
Maybe 3 of the dummies convinced 5 of the dummies it would be safer to swim ashore when the boat started taking on water.
Sounds like a case of stealing more chain than 1 can swim with.

I hope it's true. I hope they are dead. What's certainly true is if their boat did capsize they all sank to the bottom quickly. Dirt-bags lack buoyancy.
