As far as "any other federal job", no one else (except Biden) is hired by 67 million citizens. Actually by 538 electors according to the Constitution. But apparently many here don't believe in that old rag anymore. Including the President elect, who described it as "fundamentally flawed", apparently because it wasn't socialist enough to suit him.
