By default, these trolls are taking over the atmosphere at FreeRepublic.com. We have a pretty extensive list and their behavior can be verified by clicking on their names. Apparently it doesn’t bother the owner, so what can ya do? I use to pay for the time I spent here. Guess I should stop spending time here.
We were given instructions yesterday in the moderator thread to push abuse and ask for assistance when you see behavior described in the thread. They WILL now help you handle the situation.....Also if you see the keyword being abuse notify them.
I don't like arguing the way you do it. I prefer rational discussions, not name calling. But that's the way you wanted it and nobody was stopping you, so everyone else basically has no choice but to follow your lead.
If the moderators are going to start stepping in and telling people to stop being abusive then that's wonderful. Maybe we can talk about the issues instead of whining about "trolls".
