Reports have emerged today (January 7) claiming that Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson have been included on a "terror target" hit list made in reaction to the current conflict in the Gaza region.

The Sun said comments were made on the forum of Ummah.com.

A post on the forum apparently called for users to compile "a list of top Jews we can target," which included both Winehouse and Ronson's names.

British anti-terror expert Glen Jenvey told The Sun that the comments should be taken seriously.

"The Ummah website has been used by extremists," he said. "Those listed should treat it very seriously. Expect a hate campaign and intimidation by 20 or 30 thugs."

Other celebrity's allegedly included on the list are The Apprentice U.K.'s Sir Alan Sugar and British Foreign Secretary David Miliband.

Protesting in Trafalgar Square yesterday (January 6), U2/Coldplay producer and former Roxy Music star Brian Eno made a speech about the conflict.

Eno showed his support for Palestine...

Well at least we know who thg prat was when Eno left Roxy Music. It was not Bryan Ferry it was Eno. Ferry’s son Otis got arrested for fighting against the left wing Labour facists anti-hunt ban and Labour’s attack on rural/country people in the UK. Ferry is also freind with Lord March who has that cool car thing at his estate (I forget the name).

A shame because Eno produced a lot of great albums. Devo’s first as well as Ultravox’s first plus he did work on Genesis Lamb Lie’s Down album. Also Bowies Heroes and Low album. I know Bowie worked on Iggy’s Idiot album but Eno also was on there right?

Maybe Eno went left working on U2’s shite. he was always a bit of a prat like his pal Bob Fripp.

Still they cannot hold a candle to Kraftwerk.

Any relation to the late Mick Ronson? Bowie’s guitarist in the early years.

He sure did. I especially enjoy his work with David Byrne of the Talking Heads (1990s, I believe). I love his ambient stuff too -- particularly "Music for Airports."

Still they cannot hold a candle to Kraftwerk.

Right back at ya! In my humble opinion, there is no finer "rock" group than Kraftwerk. Their influence is everywhere, but no other band or artist can capture their icy, organic electronic sound.

I had his first and second album after he left Roxy. I probably still have them. I had/still have friends who were huge fans. Bryan Ferry and Eno eventually reconciled when they ran into each other on vacation not long ago at a Caribbean resort.

I remember buying the first Talking Heads album.

I saw Kraftwerk in a great theater setting a few years ago. It is the last concert I saw but it was probably the best by far. I have seen Bowie (9 years ago?), Depeche Mode, Numan and at least 30 other good concerts/acts.

Kraftwerk were just stunning. It took me around 30 years to finally see them but it was worth the wait.

Who knew 50 + year old stoic German men could be so amazing in concert?

The high quality sound system, the video, stage set up, show - something I will remember the rest of my life.

Yes, it's on my bucket list too.

To hear "Europe Endless" and "Neon Lights" live? Priceless...

Yeah, but I would put Robert Johnson on the legends list. Brian Jones from an historical standpoint.

Pigpen and Ham are only remembered by old fans older than 45, you're right.

Speaking of Iggy, Iggy Pop’s Guitarist, Ron Asheton of Stooges, Found Dead at 60 Jan. 6 (Bloomberg) — The body of guitarist Ron Asheton, a founder of the Stooges, was discovered today by police at his home in Ann Arbor, Michigan, his record company Virgin Music said. He was 60. No cause of death was given.

Asheton was central to the sound of Iggy Pop’s band, whose hits, including “TV Eye” and “No Fun,” helped inspire punk rock. He played guitar and then bass on the albums “The Stooges,” “Fun House” and “Raw Power.” He joined the Stooges reunions and “The Weirdness,” the 2007 comeback CD.

“He was a great friend, brother, musician, trooper,” Iggy Pop and the other Stooges said in a statement e-mailed by Virgin. “For all that knew him behind the facade of Mr. Cool & Quirky, he was a kind-hearted, genuine, warm person who always believed that people meant well even if they did not.”

Eno, you are a genius in the recording studio. Perhaps you should stay there.
