Right out of the socialist (liberal) playbook. Good cop -- bad cop. Obama says "TAX CUT" -- the other socialist dims say "NO TAX CUTS". With the net attempt to make Obama look "centrist" in his plans, even though it will all change. It is a sham. None of these radical leftists want anything to do with ANY tax cut, in spite of the fact that is exactly what the nation needs....reduced government spending and taxation to boost the economy.

Socialism is not interested in the improvement of a capitalist society. Only a socialist society with the government at the top of the pyramid. More taxation to move more public and corporate wealth to the government is essential if Obama is to live up to his campaign promises and his ideology and mentorship.

Might as well rubber-stamp this scenario. Good socialist -- bad socialist. With Obama always SAYING what people want to hear, then only to have it changed like he wants it. The socialist freight train is coming. Thank you liberal voters.

Earth to Obamaloon:

To refine your plan, you might try coming up with a plan first.

Who thinks Obama doesn’t know what he said yesterday, or what he plans to say tomorrow? Who thinks the only thing true about Obama is he is in way way over his head.

This video is a great. Fred Thompson, former US Senator, Actor, and Presidential Candidate, delivers a wry, tongue-in-cheek (although sad) admonition for all America to have a Happy Holiday Season.

I like your ‘cop’ analogy. Sounds right. Republicans might win a $100 tax cut for those earning 80K and under, in return for supporting the welfare checks and massive FDR public works deficit programs. Problem is, republicans have no winning message. They should be scaring the public over the deficit, but they are scared to get called on their own past behavior.

When I hear and read Obama’s words I always think about clueless people who think this sounds good. Last night Pelosi was bragging about bill will be passed because 80% of public is for it. She was asked what is in the bill and claimed she didnt know. She the Speaker didnt know, but Public likes it. Idiots!

Ah yes, before you can have refined stimulus plan, you must make stimulus plan beer, which calls for stimulus plan hops, barley, yeast, and taxes to be filtered and stored in pork barrels.

Once you have stimulus plan beer, then the refining starts. Next on the menu, stimulus plan mash, which has generous helpings of rhetoric and more taxes added to it.

To help the refining process, sometimes you need to refine a ‘fortified’ stimulus plan. This requires printing ginormous amounts of paper money to add to the brew.

Finally through the heat and pressure of congressional debate, you get a refined stimulus plan!

It will be very difficult to pretend to be adopting all positions when actually in command.

It’s the real Rorschach test.

Exactly, it’s the same “triangulation” ploy they used in the Clinton years.

But the Dems and media will be much smoother about it this time. There will be openings for a “bomb-throwing minority back-bencher” to make them pay like Gingrich did. But they’ll be few and I’m sceptical anyone will even try.

The economy is bad for business but great for the government- investors are begging to make “safe” loans to the government at near zero interest.

Why should the government change that if no one is going to make them?
