A former exotic dancer who allegedly made about $80,000 in tips during one year is now facing multiple felony charges for failing to report the money as income.

Stephanie Antes, 28, of Albertville, is charged with five felony counts and one gross misdemeanor count of failing to file and pay income taxes and filing a false income tax return, according to the Minnesota Department of Revenue.

Antes worked as an exotic dancer and waitress at Rick's Cabaret in Minneapolis between 2004 and 2006. A tipster called the Department of Revenue to report that Antes had made around $80,000 per year in tips that she didn't report.

According to the criminal charges, her bank statements showed that she deposited $27,000 in 2004 and $76,000 in 2005, exceeding the income amounts she reported for those years by thousands of dollars.

She also received a large state refund in 2005 because she claimed both of her children as dependents, even though their father also claimed them.

Antes did not return calls for comment, but according to her MySpace page, she graduated from North Hennepin Community College with a degree in nursing in 2005.

Thats right.Jackpots are different because it is a one time win.Board games are hand by hand, pot by pot. No way to determine actual loss or winnings.

Here is a Stephanie Antes who is a Real Estate agent that is around the Albertville area. (The article didn't say anything about her stripping since '06, so...)

Well, Minnesotans are not unique. I used to live in California (nuff said). I escaped 10 years ago but where I now live (Colorado) is headed down the same road (Udall is now our senator - the man is a leftist loon of the first order though he is not quite the ridiculous lightweight that Franken is). So I feel your pain - just not quite as intense (yet).

Wow... A cashier was going to have me fill out some federal forms when I cashed in about $10,000 in chips, until I told her that I wanted to pay off my marker, which brought everything up equal. This was at Ballys in Las Vegas about 4 years ago.

I’d like to know how you figure that. I’m assuming .004 thickness - yeah, it’s about .003 but I’m allowing for the ocasional wrinkle, air, etc.

.004 inches X 80000 = 320 inches.

Which is 26 feet 8 inches.

Your number of 10 feet would make the bill .0015 inches thick, which is less than half the thickness of an ordinary sheet of bond paper.

Sorry, you’re wrong.

I miscalculated. I took a book with pages about the same thicknes, but, I should have counted 160 numbered pages instead of 80 when I multiplied by a thousand.
