Too bad most transmitters have gone solid state. And the managers are so short sighted they junked the tube transmitters to save space.

I still have my Drake R-4B and TX-4 at hand. And I can rewind generators if required. Not to mention all the surplus electronics that any ham operator has out in the garage.... Most of it in ammo cans, and therefore protected.

I'll be working QRP DX on 6 meter FM. :) Bring on the sunspots....
