“... some are hesitant to vote for a third party as it might be throwing a vote away.” Not any more. The Republican party has shown it is too much like the Democrat party and not a viable political party of opposition any longer. I would love to see third party candidates for Congressional seats bubbling up all over the nation, but I would like to retaing enough Republican Seante seats to prevent a filibuster proof majority.

I’d love to see a third party take off too, the trouble is that the two parties make it difficult for third parties to get on the ballot in most states, so that means everyone would have to agree on one of the existing ones like the Constitution party and get behind it so it would get some seats, etc.

Agreed! I would also love to see third party seats everywhere. Especially since the prospects of a revolution are pretty dim.
