“temperature and Earth’s orbital variations.”????
read about that here:
What causes the Earths climate to change?
Climate change is complexthere are many dynamics involved. A major factor may be the relationship between the Earth and the Sun.
Astronomer Milutin Milankovitch (1879 1958) studied the variations in the shape of the Earths orbit around the Sun and the tilt of the Earths axis. He theorized that these cyclical changes and the interactions among them were responsible for long-term climate changes.
Milankovitch studied three factors:
1. Changes in the tilt of the Earths axis;
2. Variations in the shape of the Earths orbit around the Sun; and
3. Precession: changes in how the tilt of the axis is oriented in relation to the orbit.

His work ought to be looked at in every General Science classroom, but apparently it is too complicated for graduates of Teachers' Colleges to comprehend. Axial Tilt ... Precessionary Wobble ... elliptical orbits .... too heavy, dude.
How I prayed that our presently recumbent President GW would have prepared a little talk on the Milankovitch Cycle, complete with visual aids. This alone would have been enough to knock Global Warming and the religiously fanatic Warmons into a cocked hat.
Instead, the world makes public policy based upon tragically faulty "science." The Left has pulled a masterful coup, encouraging the gullible public to confuse pollution and and "Global Warming." Pollution is bad. However it does at least exist. Global Warming doesn't.
Republicans have failed to use common sense, never mind science, to show Americans that Global Warming is bullshiite.
