Roland Burris, Gov. Rod Blagojevich's controversial choice to replace President-elect Barack Obama in the US Senate, has already begun work on his memorial in Oak Woods Cemetery on Chicago's South Side. His tombstone boldly proclaims, "Trail Blazer" and includes a list of his accomplishments.
See the memorial for yourself and tell us what you think it should say in light of recent Blago-related events.

He forgot to mention he was in the glee club.
Since his skin color is most important thing to him, I wonder what precautions he will take to prevent from turning into a skinless skeleton in death?
I would say he would be the First Crooked Black Senator from Illinois, but I guess he’ll just be the second crooked black senator from Illinois.
Cremate him.

I think he has just enough room to add:
First African-American to serve Illinois as a Senator without being elected.
First African-American Senator to be impeached and removed from office.
First chair flute in the W.E.B. Dubois Elementary School band.

Should Burris want to be eternally remembered, he should be aware of another who — long ago — wished for that.

Was she a senator from Illinois? Or is it a trifecta of crooks?
Yes and Yes. Well trifecta mean three right? Theres alot more where those three came from. What is bigger than a herd?
