He’s still got 30 million or so in the bank leftover from the campaign, he’ll be collecting his whole 4 years, whoever takes him on in 2012 better be well funded.

Anybody seriously considering a run in 2012 needs to have a minimum of $200 million socked away by Labor Day of 2011. On the Pubbie side, there's only one candidate that can do that, and we know who she is.

I'll be donating to Palin and Jindal.

Pawlenty/Romney, et al: absolutely no way! From here on out, my money's going to bona fide conservatives.

$200 mil and a cup of coffee might get you a senate seat now. Clinton's big priority as president was collecting money. I'd expect the same here, squared. I'd say a billion plus, to start, might get you going.

She’d be smart to promote Romney as her Sec of Commerce or Treasury, he’s still got a ton of followers in the northeast who are very well heeled. I agree though, this cycle I’m going to give until it hurts.
