This is off topic a little; but I was wondering if anyone out there was experincing problems with their computers. I thought it was just me at first; but friends here and all across the country are having delays with loading, sending and recieving emails; emails with no text, computer pages jumping back and forth. Can’t list all of them. A lot of viruses.
The only reason I am asking is there are a lot of people experiencing this.

yes - virus notices with temporary crashes.
I seem to be infected with something similar to what is described here...

No matter what I search for with google, I will get results that show legitimate “headlines”, but the link is a fake anti-virus site that tries to snooker you into buying their malware.
And it isn’t just a few links - every single link in my search results is a fake anti-virus site.
So - I’m switching my search engine, and trying to figure out where to go from here.
Anyone out there aware of this problem and how to fix it?
