The GOP should have silenced the Democrats, thereby silencing their constituents? Yeah, THAT’S real Constitutional. Leave it to a “true conservative” to state an idea like that.

And why is that a bad idea, provided that it is indeed Constitutional? Since these are simply House Rules changes I highly doubt there would be a problem constitutionally.

During the time the GOP ran Congress, the Democrats were given a say. Look where it got the GOP.

I disagree. Each citizen of the U.S. has a right to full representation. Even though these are House rules, they are being applied unevenly. Pelosi is basically saying that Democrat constituents can have full representation, but Republican constituents cannot. If she is going to make rules, they should be made equally for all members. She shouldn’t have the power to cut off full representation to one segment of the voting citizenry.
