By now many of you have heard that Joe the Plumber Wurzelbacher is leaving for Israel tomorrow to be a war correspondent for Pajamas TV. This has created quite a brouhaha in the media - cable television, newspapers, wire services, etc. Everyone from CNN to gawker.com has something to say about Joe heading for the Middle East. He will appear on Fox and Friends tomorrow morning before his departure.
To be honest, some (maybe much) of this reportage is pretty snotty. Nora ODonnell of MSNBC - herself a MA in international relations, lahdeedah - fairly frothed at the mouth at the prospect of the unqualified Joe having the temerity to report news in a foreign land. Joe isn't qualified......
......He isn't a haughty liberal.
This doesn't mean he's converting does it?
Speaking of McCain....did anybody else get an email from him about some grassroots coalition hes forming? I dont remember the name of it and I must have deleted the email.
So to continue the movement, I have decided to launch a new grassroots organization called Country First.
Today, I’m asking you as a friend and supporter to renew your commitment to our common goals by becoming a Charter Member of Country First with an online contribution.///\

I say that we all donate $0.50 each That is what we think about holding hands with folks on the other side of the isle..
sorry folks- the weblink doesn’t work without putting the key that is imbedded in the email that they sent. I feel uncomfortable putting something out there that ,ight identify me.... ):
just asking for money....
That’s the one! 50 cents sounds like an awful lot. How ‘bout a nickel apiece?
He's definitely NOT Christian Amanpour which, in my opinion, is a HUGE plus.
I like this guy a lot! He makes the point that he's there to do a story on Israelis and how they have to go through the day with Hamas raining rockets on them. There is ZERO spin here; just Joe, a couple of bombed out buildings, a few pissed off reporters and the story of daily life when you live next door to terrorists. We need to see more of this.
