My point wasn't that hard to understand.
The conservatives didn't "lose" the white house, the republicans did
The democrats won, the republicans lost.
Read my post a little slower so you understand and don't feel compelled to explain obvious facts to me.
So your lecture was unnecessary unless you needed to see it written down.
No, the conservatives don't control any branches of government, but they weren't involved in the contest for President so didn't "lose" it.
Your quote at the bottom of your post, I have no idea where that is from. Certainly not me.
You either are what your posts reveal and project, or you are not. Doesn't matter to me.
How you describe your self (if you felt so inclined) and how your words describe you may be different.
Being critical doesn't bother me, but your criticism are overly harsh and some quite irrelevant and speak of deeper issues regarding Coulter and her effectiveness or even the necessity of her being on the media curve.
And some are just plain attacks on character.
She can't be marginalized, it's too late for that.
You imply she is detrimental to conservatism.
Name me some conservatives you respect and believe are competent enough to be a spokesman for conservatism.
And have an established platform .
I thank you and others for reminding me that I've broken one of my personal guidelines to never be critical about the object of another's affection, especially in the midst of their/his/her fanclub. It's great that you and others here are so devoted to her. It's a beautiful thing and it was wrong for me to be critical, especially when I was so overly harsh. Ann doesn't do that and neither should I.
I see now how mistaken I was about her interviewing skills. She's absolutely brilliant, as well as being wonderful, insightful, beautiful, bitingly sarcastic, but in a devastating way and her interviews are changing hearts and minds. I like her writing, so I don't see how I could have been so moderate, so liberal, so McCain to have been so mistaken with my misguided opinions to think that she is anything less than absolute perfection.
My taking the "an NBC insider told The Drudge Report" quote from the story you posted and substituting Ann Coulter for President-elect Obama to highlight how this isn't the time or place to be critical of Ann Coulter was just wrong. She is the best and maybe the only spokesperson conservatism needs.
