What we have *now* is lawlessness, far worse than the “wild and woolly west” ever saw. Our institutions have not only failed, they are rotten beyond hope of redemption.

We have lawlessness now. If law is reestablished, it will be by vigilantes, not shiny-loaferd Washington politicians.

if it is local and state personnel, they will in the vast majority of cases be in a state of mutiny against the heads of their agencies. In my book, that makes them vigilantes.

But there still wouldn’t be enough of them.
