So glad that John is hard at work on the pressing issues of the day. I’m surprised he didn’t have to suspend his campaign to deal with these issues.

If they collect off China, it’ll erase the fed deficit.

How about a bill to investigate knock off Native Americans, like Ward Churchill.

If I carve a Kachina , will I have to prove I am an Indian ? What about a Barbi in a feather boa ? Will Federal oversight of boxing be as successful as it was for the savings and loans ?

Fortunately I didn’t contribute any money to his campaign; otherwise I’d be asking for a refund.

Selling counterfeit items is already fraud. That is theft. Why do we need more federal penalties. It’s like hate crime legislation, it’s redundant.

I live in Montana, where there are seven reservations, all different tribes.
Amazing how many of the Amerinds walk around in Tony Lamas (cowboy boots) and Stetsons (cowboy hats). If there oughta be a law, shouldn’t . . .
Oh, well, never mind.

Those are appropriate jobs for McCain. Maybe he can form a committee to study the CO2 emmissions from guys shoveling snow off their sidewalks. Or finding out how many calories are consumed chewing gum. Etc. /s/

I have no issue with anything he is proposing here.
Why restrict consumer choices for airports?
Indian art is rife with fraud and given the tribes federal relationship it belongs with them.
R&D tax credit is pro-business.
Boxing is flat out corrupt and barbaric. Watching the blatantly bad decisions, the fact that 45 year old guys get licenses, Don King and other BS that happens is amazing.

Expanding federal powers to investigate knock-off Native American crafts and art Ya mean that the silver and turquoise jewelery I just bought at the Chiang Mai night market might be fake!!! I am so disappointed. Well, it is hard to tell the difference until you get to the fact that the turquoise is usually plastic -- I mean good quality plastic. In the future I will have to content myself with replacing the genuine but short lived Rolex I bought last year,

Did McCain have an ancestor who was in charge of deck chairs on the Titanic?
Lifting restrictions on long-haul flights at Washington Reagan National Airport and New York LaGuardia Airport. McCain has long sought to lift regulations that restrict West Coast flights out of those two airports.
Stupid regulations, but yelling at the FAA would be better than writing a law about it.
> Expanding federal powers to investigate knock-off Native American crafts and art. That bill, co-sponsored by U.S. Sen. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., would increase federal penalties for fraudulent sales of the counterfeit items.
Why yes, this was made by a real life Indian.

Stupid law. Is there a national crisis of Chinese knockoff totem poles?
Establishing a national board to regulate boxing in the U.S. McCain has sought previously to impose federal oversight on the sport.
Considering that recent federal oversight are best judged as an Epic Fail, why does he think that boxing will be improved?
Making the federal research and development tax credit permanent. The federal R&D tax break is temporary and requires congressional extensions.
I always like tax cuts, but I would rather he work on dropping the entire tax code into the fire and starting again with the Fair Tax.

Lifting restrictions on long-haul flights at Washington Reagan National Airport and New York LaGuardia Airport. John, John, John, just say that you're going home to stay, and you'll have a line of FReepers around the block volunteering to personally chauffeur you the extra distance out to Dulles. Heck, you'll probably have them lining up around the block to personally chauffeur you all the way back to Arizona.
