Reagan would have welcomed him warmly and with great class.
Reagan did get to meet Bill Clinton at the start of his Administration. He advised Clinton to learn how to salute properly and use Camp David to escape from Washington. Clinton ignored the advice, choosing to learn both lessons the hard way. I imagine President Reagan would have offered similarly concise and sage advice.
