You're right. Blogo made a legal appointment as the governor from Illinois and barring any legal reason that Burris cannot serve, he should be installed.

Yeah, the situation stinks, but until Blogo is removed or resigns, he still gets to make the appointment.

Yep, Harry had to save face that one day and not seat Burris with the rest of the incoming class. He won't do it but Burris should challenge all the business conducted yesterday. That would be a crummy way for him to start off but Harry deserves it.

And let's mark yesterday as the "Day That Bipartisanship Died was Murdered." Harry talks about cooperation while Nancy Pelosi hamstrings the Republican Minority with her rules changes. Talk about "pay no attention to the man behind the curtain."
