“This is so great. I love to see the Dims have their own tricks used against them.

Blago gets copies of some of the tapes today.

I need more popcorn.”

Priceless, isn’t it? I hadn’t heard yet that Blago would be getting copies of some tapes today. I’d love to be a mouse in the corner when he listens to them.

Report Raises Questions About Burris’ Relationship With Blagojevich
Roland Burris has denied having any relationship with Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, but a close examination of his record raises new questions about that claim.

He had to cave. He had no standing whatsoever and made a bigger fool of himself than I ever thought possible by saying he could stop it. Idiots, all.

No way. Burris doesn’t have to give Harry anything. If anything, Harry is begging Burris to do what he can to help Harry save face.

It looked to me at the beginning of this “refusal” like it might be put forth as wanting to be taken as a “principled” stand by Reid, to be played out as long as it took the other piece of big news, that of SENATOR Franken, to be validated. I think they play these concurrent things out for maximum political effect of one on another, and have to play by ear to see which direction each thing is going. They AREN’T going to lose BOTH these
“seatings”. This means to me that it looks like the Franken thing may be in trouble long-term, and will prove to be an ugliness they don’t want to accommodate in the short-term, when it’s challenged by Coleman and is EXPOSED for what it is, to the public.

So Blago will know what’s on some of the tapes ... but those with whom he spoke on those tapes won’t know because they’re not entitled to copies. Let’s see how Blago uses that information.

Gosh! I thought that “Tar Baby” was on the official Do Not Say List.

Will anyone under the age of 50 even understand the reference since Uncle Remus’ Stories were banished a generation ago.

Nope. Republicans won’t beat him. If he runs again, a Rat will take him out in the 2010 primaries. That’s been Burris’ track record, losing in the primaries then watching a Democrat take the seat he was running for.

He is a serial loser in Illinois.

He has won several statewide races against republicans. His serial losses have come in 'rat primaries vs. 'rats and a mayoral bid vs. big'rat daley.

I think comparing Blago to Wallace would be more appropriate. They were both shyster little governors with more arrogance than sense.

That said, I’m enjoying the spectacle of Blago running around with a sharp stick poking dem rats in the eye very much.

Will this seat forevermore be considered “The Black Seat” in the Illinois delegation?

OK, I owe Old Harry an apology. I predicted he would cave on Monday. He took two extra days.

“That sucking sound is Reid caving”

Reid is like most of his ilk, he is brave only when confronting the helpless and those who cower before him.
