As Father Frank Pavone says, when Americans see abortion, they will reject it.

Part of the trouble is that no one sees the victims of abortion. The dead babies are thrown away and the mothers of them are usually so ashamed they will not speak of the pain that they are suffering due to their guilt and grief.

That is changing and so are the minds of the American people. We must continue to show our young people the reality of abortion. I have taken my children to the priestsforlife.org website where they have seen the horrific pictures. I have also taken them to the silentnomore.org site that tells the stories of the traumatized mothers.

And lastly, I have shared with them my own abortion story. They know that they should have had a sibling but my convenience was more important. It was one of the hardest and most shameful things I have had to admit to my own kids, but necessary so that they can hear and see the truth, not the propaganda of the abortion industry.

I admire your character.

Regarding your children's' exposure to those horrific pictures. I remember around 1973 at the time of Roe-v-Wade, after Mass the Prolife folks were in back of the church and had that famous picture of the aborted children in the plastic bag, I was around ten years old then, I'll never forget seeing that picture, and since then NO ONE can convince me that abortion is not wrong.
