With all due respect — the snow in those (Valdez) photos are nothing near what we have in Spokane - at least yesterday.
I have had over six feet fall in my area north of town.

Here is a real trooper when it come to weather. Keep in mind that the tornado is about two miles away (before they RAN away!). This is a big'un.
Did I mention that we dipped below freezing one night?
Then, I got to outrun the next storm coming in so I could make it to Phoenix before my dad passed away. Needless to say, anytime we have a weather pattern that goes from rain, to freezing rain I start to get a bit of a nauseous feeling. When it's all done, and the sun comes out, it truly is beautiful, but the damage it does is astounding.
