If/When Burris is seated, he could be so angry at Reid, he votes against Reid and the Democrats.

I wouldn't count on it. Burris is as Liberal as they come and a total gun grabber. He'll fit right in after they all get over their little stink. They are all birds of a feather.

The appointment isn't corrupt simply because the one doing the appointing might be corrupt.

There is convincing evidence that the seat was up for sale. The Senate doesn't know for sure that Burris didn't pay for his seat. I think that makes Burris' appointment, or any Blago appointment, questionable. At the very least an investigation into Burris/Blago is in order to make sure the seat wasn't sold.
