Some folks around here just think it cool to hate Jimmy Buffet. There seems to be a certain amount of snobbery around any musician or group that are too popular with "the masses," unless they are "counter-culture" like the Grateful Dead.

There are many here on FR that claim to be conservatives, who simply are not. They are radicals in their own minds, hate any body and everything. Checked your homepage and I will agree that a good single malt while enjoying the Brandenburg Concerto is just about an ideal way to kick back. Yoko Ono would push me to homicide.
