But as Burris made his way from Chicago to Washington on Monday, Reid took a softer line. Of course, Roland Burris has not been certified by the state of Illinois, he said. When that takes place, we of course will review it. At this stage, were waiting to see whatll happen in Illinois. What a wimp!

Governor Blagojevich should’ve appointed a poor, disabled Native American, left-handed, lesbian, union member, soccer mom, to President-elect Obama’s old seat. I don’t feel that he checked off enough boxes with Mr. Burris.

In contrast to his wait-and-see approach with Burris, Reid said Monday that Norm Coleman will never, ever serve [again] in the Senate.
What brought this statement on? It appears to me that Senator Reid is the one who is not qualified to be in the Senate, let alone the majority leader. What an amusing statement. I guess he's put all those citizens in Minnesota on notice, that he, Harry Reid, will be the arbiter of Minnesota Senators.

Harry Reid has done huge damage to himself because he can’t stand to shut his pie hole and see how things play out. Instead, when somebody stick a microphone in his face, he says whatever fool thing pops into his head.

Colleagues, indeed. If anyone needs support for the DEM/MSM bed buddy theory, this seems to be it. Or, do I just not know what a colleague is?

Burris will be seated. Pinky Reid doesn’t have a leg to stand on.

Proof if you ever needed it that racial politics trumps ethics. Luckily, this time it’s the Dems taking a little of their own medicine.

Asked whether there was any chance that Burris will be seated, Reid said, Listen, lets just deal with reality, not with hypotheticals. Here's some reality, Dingy boy. You are the WORST Senate majority leader of all time. Plus you are a miserable, corrupt human being. That's the reality.
Gee, I wonder what Harry DID say on that phone call to Blago. Hmmmmmmmm........................

I nominate Blago to be the next head of the RNC. Or at the very least, Blago & Burris need to be consultants to the RNC. These two have done more to pi$$ off the Democrats than any current Pubbie in DC.
At the very least, we've seen that Searchlight Harry and his cohorts will cut and run at the first opportunity.
Unfortunately, all of the bad guys around the world are seeing the same lack of fortitude in those who now control the levers of power.
